In a meeting held with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, PM Oli remarked that the no-confidence motion tabled by the two parties will not get passage unless budget related bills are endorsed at the Parliament.

According to Prime Minister’s press advisor, Chetan Adhikari, PM Oli was of the view that the PM election should be held only after making constitutional arrangements.

A source privy to the development informed that Deuba and Dahal suggested PM Oli to resign from his post. However, PM Oli stressed on facing the parliament as the two parties have already tabled the no-confidence motion.
